Pam Grier , the badass mutha of the seventies blaxploitation movies re-emerged triumphantly in Jackie Brown. Then last night whilst watching an episode of Smallville , the early years of the man from Krypton, our Pam appears in three episodes - which are "Absolute Justice", "Checkmate" and "Sacrifice" from season 9. "Absolure Jusruce" introduced us to the JSA - The Justice Society of America - which had Hawkman in the team. Hawkman was part of the first season of DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

Anyway i know her as Foxy.

Hello folks. I am wondering why you have not seen the daily night and morning gifs. Well, mia culpa. I totally forgot. After my jaunt down to Paddock Wood and a fish and chip food and drink in Gravesend 'Spoons pub last night, i got home and promptly fell asleep. I woke up at four though totally refreshed!

This was a good thing as i snucked into the common room where the Quays WiFi is it at its "strongest" - guffaw! Anyway i caught up woith the latest episode of Supergirl "Medusa" ,which then continued to the next episode of The Flash and then Arrow with the denouement in Legends Of Tomorrow - they were fighting an alien horde known as the Dominators. It was an awesome three and a half hours of DC comic fantasy full on blast! (Shush TV excludes all the damn adverts).

Here is a You Tube explanation - well one explanation -  of the crossover - spoiler alert if not watched.

I thoroughly enjoyed this crossover.

So far i have caught up with episodes of Supergirl,Legends of Tomorrow and the awesome BBC 3 series of Class, so now it is just Agents Of SHIELD and The Flash.

A dull and overcast day and it did try to rain for awhile. I am taking the day off as i have moved one visit to Tuesday so that i can do four visits in Canterbury tomorrow.

There is a new seasons of Legends Of Tomorrow and i watched the first two episodes of the second series last night along with the latest episode of The Flash. The second episode of Legends ,which takes them to 1942 to stop a nuclear bomb from destroying New York. It also introduced us the The Justice League Of America (or JSA) , another DC Comics bunch of superheroes, and guess who helped the Nazis to gain the bomb was none other than Damien Dark - nemesis of The Arrow.

Both excellent shows by the why.

Now that Shush TV's website has the first season of Luke Cage - whom first appeared in the other Marvel Netflix series Jessica Jones, i am wondering is it worth watching?

Well after waking up around seven this morning i decided to watch a few more episodes of Supernatural season 11 and now just have one episode left to watch of the season, which i will do tonight. And what a steamroller it has been with The King of Hell and his witchy mother Rowena, Castiel being commandeered by Lucifer, the sacrifice of Matatron aka God's scribe, and Chuck himself (aka God).Episode 23 should be a blast even with The Darkness aka Amara (God's sister) wanting to end the world and undo creation.

Rowena is played by the Scottish actress Ruth Connell, Mark Sheppard ,an Englishman, plays the King Of Hell - perfect for his qualities as an actor - he was also in Firefly as a small-time crime lord called Badger Mark also played a demon named Arnon on an episode titled "Witches in Tights" on the TV series Charmed. That is how i recognised him when i started watching SPN. Oh and FYI, he appears in the 2011 Doctor Who episodes "The Impossible Astronaut" and "Day of the Moon" playing the character Canton Everett Delaware III.

Here is a clip of Crowley and Rowena - she calls him Fergus.

Infact i did not go to Canterbury today but will be doing some Asda store visits tom morrow and Monday.Decided to take the day off after the long day yesterday. Contingent with that is the weather is dull and overcast, threatening to rain , and full of malediction.

Mark A. Sheppard by Gage Skidmore 2.jpg

Mark Andreas Sheppard (born 30 May 1964) is an English, naturalized American, actor and musician, born in London, England of an Irish-German background. He is often credited as "Mark A. Sheppard". Sheppard is known for his recurring roles as the demon/King of Hell Crowley on Supernatural, lawyer Romo Lampkin on the Battlestar Galactica reboot, Interpol investigator James Sterling on Leverage, and small-time crime lord Badger on Joss Whedon's Firefly as well as some spots on Doctor Who.

I saw the film Limitless at the cinema when it came out, so investigating the app Stremio, , suggested by an LJ friend , when i had problem trying to watch Orphan Black via Shush and less so on Putlocker, I noticed a TV series of it , so i am going to try it out.  As for Ophan Black, i am now up to episode five of that series from the fourth season.
jazzy_dave: (reflective mood)
Season 2 was totally awesome - what a twist at the end - males clones! I guess it had to happen! One of the best shows i have seen that is for sure. Season 3 next!

Oh , and i have squeezed into the top twenty blogs on LJ. Awesome!
jazzy_dave: (Real Ale fiend)
I did couple of visits today. On in Faversham and one at Westwood Cross near Ramsgate. The reason was i had a long session the previous night watching the complete first season of Orphan Black. I was hooked and just had to watch all ten episodes. I will be moving on to season 2 next. Totally awesome series!

I am back in Canterbury needing a pint of beer at 'Spoons before i home.
