Busy Days
Last couple of days have been really busy with visits and completing reports online. Tuesday i did a visit in Canterbury for Ryman the stationer, and then went over to Gravesend for an evening meal at the Robert Pocock pub, a Wetherspoons outlet. I had the juiciest sirloin steak there washed down with a fine quaffable ale, called Nelson's Powder Monkey (4.0 % ABV).
I also did a cider festival visit in Maidstone at the Druids Arms. Had a pint of Westons cider.
On the way back from Gravesend i took a train to Strood and walked across Rochester bridge and took these two photos of the castle in the background from the bridge.
Wednesday morning I left early (just before 7 am) to do a visit in Ramsgate to mystery shop a Magnet store, and then came back home to do the online report before my trip over to Ashford. I went there to do a cinema visit and saw the latest Marvel Comics movie "The Wolverine". It was very good, entertaining and awesome with some great special effects. Thumbs up from me.
I got back to Teynham at 11.35 pm and walked quickly towards the local pub for a few late night drinks.We left there just before three in the morning!
This morning i was back in Canterbury on another visit, and then went to the OFFIce in Sittingbourne to do the bulk of my report. Then tomorrow back in Sittingbourne to do another visit, then a stint at the Office, and then a cider drink visit in Tunbridge Wells. Phew!
Today has been a real hot sticky day, so i shall look forward to it being cooler when i head off for Tunbridge Wells, and perhaps, i will have time to peruse Halls Bookshop again.
