Canterbury Visit

There was just a spittle of rain today and the sun had came out for awhile as i was leaving Canterbury.
Sod's law i thought.

Anyway, i had a pint of beer at the Bell and Crown pub , Wantsum Red Rabble (4.5 ABV), and then went perusing some book shops. I sold some books for four quid at Chaucer Books and purchased these for less than a quid, including a couple for only a quid t Waterstones in a sale.

And then some freebies outside another charity shop which stated a donation of yor choosing.

A good day indeed.

I particularly would like The Time of My Life. I'm pretty sure I have seen a documentary or drama about this.

A spittle of rain: Sounds like here!

I'm so jealous—the charity shops & Waterstone's in Leeds never had such good deals!

Those books sound great. What nice finds! I added two of them to my "get these and read them" pile!
