Book Finds Today

The penultimate day on the course and then tomorrow aftenoon i shall be heading Sussex way. I just hope that the weather is okay forn the Saturday in Eastbounre.



Picked up a bunch of books in a charity shop for three quid today. They are as follows -

George Orwell - Animal Farm,
Truman Capote - Breakfast At Tiffinay's
Anthony Burgess - A Clockwork Orange
Jack Kerouac - On The Road
Graham Green - The Heart Of The Matter
D.H Lawrence - Lady Chatterley's Lover
Gabriel Garcia Marquez - One Hundred Years Of Solitude
Virginia Wolff - To The Lighthouse
E.M Forster - A Passgae To India
Francoise Sagan - Bonjour Tristesse




The ten books are in a box called the Penguin Essential Collection which is worth forty quid normally.

I read most of these in college. Ladt Chatterley's Lover was one of those passed around surreptitiously in high school; "You have to read Page 28!!" It's one of the few on the list I HAVEN'T read!!
