Bjork Music

Now Bjork happens to be one of my favourite artists as she can merge the avant garde with pop in a seamless fashion. She has used electronic soundscape pioneers Matmos and the improv avant gardist Zeena Parkins (on harp) on her albums.

From the third album Homogenic is this Chris Cunningham video All Is Full Of Love.

Also , another great video is this one, Hunter.

Next fave video is Cocoon.

,, and finally Hidden Place.

Enjoy.

Ha ha! I went on a Bjork kick after work and this is the first post I saw when I logged into LJ!

She's great. I loved her in the Sugarcubes too. I used to steal my brother's Sugarcubes tapes.

I've seen her live at the Apollo back in 2003 - she was incredible. I have LJ set up to schedule Vespertine tracks throughout December, because I first got into the album just before Xmas 2001 and it just reminds me of frost and snow :-)

I haven't yet been able to get into her music overall, but I have always liked "All Is Full of Love".
