Joni and Kasabian

I am a big Joni Mitchell fan and my cousin picked up a couple of her albums on CD cheap recently, the classic Blue and the equally exquisite Court And Spark album.

He bought a KasabiannDVD and CD combo a few weeks before Xmas, but cannot get the DVD to play. It is a Summer Solstice gig they did in Leicester. Anyway, I stick it on my laptop and it works fine. Something up with the Blue Ray player as it seems to be not recognizing the DVD methinks.

Sometimes our musical tastes do meet but not often.

'Blue' is my all time favorite Joni album. I don't think there is a song on it that I don't really like.

I wasn't always a fan - for a long time her voice and peculiar song structure was off-putting, but I have come to appreciate her more as I get older.
