This is not an excuse, this is a fact. The fact is that the guy with a crime record (Zimmerman) can have a gun and serve as a vigilante. Or the guy who is just plain crazy in the worst meaning of this and doctors know it can have a gun (put in this list Cho, Holmes, Loughner). And the guy who sympathizes to radicals can have a gun (Hasan, Martin).
