Salacious Place Names and Streets

In Britain we do have some unusual and sometimes embarrassing place names and streets. Here is such a collection.



Twatt is a settlement in the Shetland Islands of Scotland. Bitchfiled is in Lincolnshire.

Wetwang is in the Yorkshire Wolds, part of the East Riding area.





I cannot vouch for the others here as some of these may have been photoshopped.

I've been to Twatt. It's also a local surname in Orkney.

Kent also has Pratt's Bottom as you're probably aware!

There is a Grope Lane in Shrewsbury too.

Well aware of Pratt's Bottom, lol, as well as Upper and Lower Dicker in Sussex. Unfortunate surname in some circles, and ifi had it i would change my name.
