Implications

Okay, as i mull over the implications of last night's Dr.Who episode here are some random questions, the type that [livejournal.com profile] ghost_light likes to post.

1/ When was the last time you cried?

2/ What film did you last see at the cinema?

3/ Nuts or fruit?

Oooo, questions to answer!

1. Yesterday. Choked up over an old ST:NG episode

2. Again, yesterday. We went to see 'Hotel Transylvania 2' downtown.

3. Fruits, unless there are some macadamia nuts being offered.

1. A little misty-eyed to learn Yogi Berra (WWII veteran, Baseball great, and world famous mangler of the English language) had passed away.

2. I'm thinking it was the first of the new Star Trek movies, several years ago, but I'm getting a bit older and my memory isn't what is used to be.

3. Both!

1. I got teary yesterday, but I don't recall an all-out cry.

2. I don't recall the last film at a cinema. (Maybe I have a memory problem and I sobbed my eyes out, at a film at the cinema last week. xp )

3. OR? Nuts, at the moment.

1) Seeing "Inside Out" at the cinema.

2) Ditto, I think.

3) I don't like the mouth-feel of nuts, and I _love_ fruit.

1. A couple of weeks ago. We had to call the fake cops (I forget their proper name, but it's like a private security company hired by the rental company) because both of our neighbors were having really loud, OTT parties at a really shitty time of night. The fake cops showed up, listened in our apartment to the music & shouting, and then talked to only one neighbor. The other neighbor continued, so we called and said, "Hey, they're still carrying on, could you please come back?" They came back but were really not pleased with it, and the one not-a-cop commented that we should really think about how we keep the place (the floor by the entrance was due for a mopping). It was completely unrelated to our neighbors breaking noise violations, and it felt so mean and nasty and personal (plus it touched on lots of ~*~personal~*~ stuff about cleanliness for me) and I was so exhausted and stressed already that I had a long sob. And then scrubbed the floor to make me feel better.

2. Inside Out.

3. Fruit, every time.

1. Sorry to be so boring, but I can't remember. But it used to happen a lot until I was kind of just done with it all, and now not very often.

2. It was Jurassic World. I liked it.

3. If I had to choose, I guess I would go with fruit, but it would be the next time I cried.

1.Tears of frustration yesterday while discussing my "retirement fund" problem*

2. AGES ago,a Robin Williams flick which turned out NOT to be the comedy we expected and was 'dirty'. My teenage DD and I left after about 15 min.

3. Definitely fruit! I eat four or five pieces a day, whereas I only have nuts at Thanksgiving and Xmas.

* My paperwork keeps getting rejected!!

1) Friday night. I am missing someone terribly.

2)Godzilla. There are not many people around to see movies with and working on Sundays leaves me not a lot of movie time.

3)Nuts

[identity profile] harvey-rrit.livejournal.com 2015-09-27 03:34 pm (UTC)(link)
1 ) Rewatching Doctor Who: Last Christmas.

2 ) American Ultra.

3 ) Meat and vitamins.

I cried watching the beginning of Big Hero 6. When did cartoons start making me cry?

The Man from UNCLE.

Nuts, preferably dark chocolate covered.

1. earlier this week

2. Avengers: Age of Ultron

3. both but as a diabetic I'm probably better off with nuts (just not walnuts)

1. Thoughts of Bertie hit me again just this morning; spontaneous tears...
2. The Theory of Everything, in January. Yeah, I know, should go more frequently to the cinema. I have every intention of seeing 'A Walk In The Woods' and 'Spectre'...
3. Fruit - particularly nectarines, peaches and apricots...

Heard a beautiful song the other day and I teared up...can't remember the song, but every time it plays, I know that will happen.

Oh!! It was 'Hey Brother' *nods* a few songs to that to me (One Headlight does that too).

I think it was 'Doctor Who: Day of the Doctor'

Both. But not together, thank you.

*HUGS*

Yesterday. I actually rarely cry. But it was at a suicide awareness and prevention research event, so...yeah

A Walk in the Woods.

Depends on my mood, but I generally prefer savory over sweet, so I'll say nuts if I have to make a choice.

I sobbed pretty uncontrollably just a few days ago as my Nipsy mouse died in my hands.

The second Marigold Hotel movie, whose actual name has slipped my mind.

Both, but if I had to choose, probably nuts.

1. Just cried a couple of minutes ago, watching a tv show. :o

2. I am really trying to think. I saw so many movies at the beginning of the year, but now I haven't seen anything for quite a while. :o

3. I guess I would lean towards fruits. :)
Hugs, Jon
