I have a book recommendation for you! I just finished "The Life and Times of Bob Cratchit" by Dixie Distler. It's excellent! Shows how Bob was able to be cheerful and strong,etc. despite his poor circumstances.

Watching Scrooge every year was a part of Christmas for our family, so this was really enjoyable!
