London Trip
Sep. 29th, 2009 12:53 pmMonday up in London and exchanged some CD's and vinyl at MVE Notting Hill and then took the tube to Kilburn to get the DMC DJ bag for Lorna's brother.
The Decks store is actually a good walk away from Kilburn's underground station and is in Cricklewood. It would have been better if i went via FFC trains to Blackfriars and get a slow one to Cricklewood. It would have been more direct.
Anyway,got the damn bag but felt it was not worth the £19.50 asking price for it but it is the one she wanted and thus she must be obeyed.
Afterwards took an overground train from the Kilburn High Road to Camden Road and walked down to Camden MVE,and exchanged my vouchers from their Notting Hill branch. Got six singles and one LP.The LP is a debut album by Lee Oskar on United Artists (1976) who was part of the funk/soul band War.
