Films and Beefheart R.I.P.
Dec. 19th, 2010 12:18 amSeen two films this week ex gratis , this morning it was "Tron The Legacy" and Wednesday it was "The Tourist". Two very different films but two quite enjoyable in their own ways. Neither would be ones i would shell out money for but for free who cares! The 3D effects on the latter film were quite spectacular though.
The cold day has really made me feel tired , and having had a few puffs of the weed, i feel quite mellow and will retire to bed.
Oh and just one final note - sad to hear the passing away of Captain Beefheart (Don van Vliet), a man whose music in the sixities and seventies turned me on to altrenative sounds and strange time signatures viz a viz Trout Mask Replca. Another legend slips away from memory.

He was a wayward unique person. R.I.P my man
