I shall be going down to Sussex today after doing a mystery shop in Herne Bay. I will be staying with a friend in Seaford, and whilst in the area a couple of covert shops, both travel agents, in Lewes and Hastings, including a Wetherspoons visit.
Took out some rubbish early morning to be greeted by a frosty ground and a dustbin covered with ice particles!
I also packed up some albums, singles and CD's for dispatch to buyers who have purchased items from the Discogs site i use. A Detroit Spinners single to somebody in the USA , four CD's and an LP to someone else in Brazil. Yes, i sell all over the world!
This morning Florence was in playful mode ,and for a good half an hour we had a silly time , me throwing her toys, she chasing them, including her small squeaaky balls, and she playing football with them.
Well folks, I arrived in Brighton about 3.45 pm today, as my friend GC was in town and she said it would be nice to travel back to Seaford together. She was mystery shopping a retail outlet..
Also, some very good news. Lorna has been discharged from hospital and her friend Vicky drove her home late this afternoon. We had been texting each other all day. She has some tablets to take , and had to wait an hour or more at the hospital dispensary for her medicine.
I will make some arrangements to see her this week. I am staying on the Sussex coast till Friday.
Whilst in Brighton i popped into the free book place next to the Holland & Barrett shop in North Street , and picked up three free books again , one on Houseplants which I gave to Georgina , and the following two paperbacks -
The bookshop is run by the Healthy Planet charity , and they also sell other things, besides the free books, and have a shop in Ashford, Kent,, where i have also discovered previously.
