So Today ...

I am off to Maidstone today for a pub  visit and then Chatham for some techy visits such as Alexa or other smart speakers.

Weather is now dry although it did rain first thing this morning so i am hoping it stays dry,

In Rochester

So there I was uploading my pipe with a vanilla and cherry flavoured shag waiting for a bus to take me into Chatham itself having just done the last of my visits today, and I get spotted by another LJ'er who had seen me waiting for said bus. Small world isn't it?

Anyway I had a delicious Sunday lunch in Maidstone - which is my usual steak and eggs with jacket potato , a pint of Doom Bar and a can of Uprising Treason. The lass at the bar was obviously a new member of staff since after she had tilled my order, she gave me a can of Sixpoint Resin , a similar looking can , but a beer that is a pound more, and wallops in at 9.1 % ABV. I said nowt and took my drinks back to my table with glee.

So , as I am now in Rochester, having done my two reports, I am currently trying a Greene King Heritage Ale (5.0 % ABV) which is quite yummy.
