A strange day.
Started sunny and hot but now overcast and dull.
Expected to be warmer in afternoon. We will see.

So, as far as I am concerned, it has been a morning of the Sussex folk singer Shirley Collins on the player and now some middle eastern fusion jazz music from Rabih Abou-Khalil. Only heard of him due to the Wire.

Rabih Abou-Khalil - Grateful Parting

Enjoy.

Another band I saw live was Pere Ubu in the 2000s in Brighton and then later David Thomas and his new band The Two Pale Boys and then there was this 1995 reminder of their music - a Wire Primer no less.

Pere Ubu - 30 Seconds Over Tokyo

Pere Ubu - Electricity

Pere Ubu - On The Surface

Pere Ubu - Heart Of Darkness

Enjoy

Pere Ubu - The Modern Dance

Pere Ubu - Guitars & One Girl

Pere Ubu - George Had A Hat

Pere Ubu - Waiting For Mary

Enjoy
