If ever I'm in a coffee shop or something and there's a local paper lying around, I'll read it. I rarely check the local news. I think I've bought a local paper maybe twice a year after some major natural event (e.g. fires and earthquakes here in northern California), if I like the A-1 layout.

The local free alt-weekly used to be the best source for local entertainment calendar and columns. It's not as good as it used to be and sometimes a month or more goes by and I realize I haven't grabbed one out of a rack or off q pile.

I keep a subscription to the digital New York Times. They have a free subscription app called NYTNow and there's the regular full access subscription with VR features and all that.

Other than that, it's a matter of Twitter links that catch my eye. Overall, it's an absurd amount of time that I spend reading short bits online, but I'm trying to curb that.

I rode horses regularly when I was in elementary school, in middle school I switched up to motorcycles for trail riding (and always considerate of those on horseback, I might add.)
Lately I've been looking at getting back into horseback riding.

And yes, I like musicals. When I lived in NY, I went to shows frequently when young and at least a couple of times a year in my older years.
