EU Results

I suspect that the referendum on the EU will have more mileage to go and that the result is not binding.
We all know that the Government MPs have too much personal money to loose to exit the EU and they will wriggle to have the vote overturned. After all they need their retirement plan in Brussels. Meanwhile let the Brexit voters enjoy winning it's victory for a while. Once the shit hits the fan then they will discover what it really means - so they better not regret the decision.

Very much so - I remain incredulous that such a major step, fundamental to our current political existence, can be decided with a simple majority. For something of that magnitude, I'd far sooner require a genuine mandate, with a majority of at least 60%, if not more.
