Breakfast Beer and Music

This morning Tim and I had breakfast at The Summoner in Sittingbourne. We had a beer with the meal as well, his was Guinness and mine was called Freeminer Speculation Ale (4.8 % ABV).

His money came in and he has bought a new washing machine , which will be installed on Saturday. The old one lasted for 19 years and is definitely on its last legs. He also bought a high quality knife set in Sainsburys.

Whilst in Sittingbourne I picked up a few vinyl records from the Save The Children charity shop to sell on Discogs. Ray Charles “Come Live With Me” (London 1974), BBC Sound Effects Vol.9 (BBC 1973) and a library music album on the Red Bus label. Sadly not a rare KPM,or Chappell library LP found.

I was going to go over to Faversham whilst Tim is in Canterbury as he wanted to get the Carter USM DVD, but decided to play some CDs instead -

Various Artists – White Bicycles (A Wing And A Prayer)
Various Artists – Americana ,Rock Your Soul (BBE Records)
Various Artists – Congotronics Volume Two (Crammed Discs)

Music from folk rock through to African jazz and electrified music from the Congo.
