Byker,Baltic Centre, Newcastle
Some more pics from Tanners Arms,Byker Bridge, Newcastle plus the Baltic Centre and the Millenium Bridge. Took one of Gateshead town centre, but very boring town in comparison.

On the Saturday before Byker Groove (which satrted at 4pm) I looked at The Baltic Centre, a contemporary art gallery , similar to Tate Modern, but on a much smaller scale,as the building use to be an old flour mill. Fairly impresive but i still prefer the Tate Modern.

This is the Millenium Bridge (not the London one!) which i walked over after visitng The Baltic Centre, then had lunch at Grainger Market.
Weather was a bit cloudy at first but it soon brightened up and the day was very pleasant.
Managed to get some diggin' done too, at Breakdown Records (just off Haymarket) and Oldhitz Records in Newgate ,up from the station.
