Writer's Block: If I could find my way
[Error: unknown template qotd]
The old time travel chestnut conundrum of avoiding yourself and creating paradoxes would be the trickiest part of going back in time, such as killing your own father, which would negate your existence. Assuming you don’t cause too many butterfly effects then I would like to go back to my own youth and undo some of the mistakes I have made in this life.
I would be a more attentive student at school , and I should have followed politics more and got into philosophy. I would still be a radical leftie anyway or a left leaning socialist.
If I could have overcome my innate shyness when I was an awkward whippersnapper I should have had more sex than I did. My first sexual experience was with an older woman who took pity on me and was married !!!
In the seventies I was a real soul fan and I would keep all those classic soul 45s which are worth a mint now. I had about 800 singles at one time covering northern soul to funk. Then I sold them before the eighties turned!
The only other time I would have liked to send my time machine back to is the cool sixties, or go back to the French Revolution of 1789 and be able to chat with Robespierre and Danton.
