Costa Del Canterbury

Well that has been a long day. Did the footfall job in Canterbury and during break periods did a couple of mystery shop visits, a travel agents and a charity shop.

The weather has been the hottest so far, reaching 28  degrees centigrade at the maximum. A truly superb day for topping up the old tan. Apparently a lot cooler tomorrow. I found a spare cafe chair to sit down and count the people going past a certain shop site which averaged around 400 per fifteen minute slot. It is a busy city especially with all the foreign students and tourists.

These are the items bought from the charity shop visit.

Plus these two CD's

Various Artists - Viva Brazil!
Various Artists - Latin Street Party

A good haul indeed.

I do have photos of course, and i did remember to take the old Canon camera this time. Well i needed it for both the footfall job and the travel agent visit. These will follow in the next post.

It always drives me crazy when they say that Blade Runner was *based on* "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" It's more like "was inspired by," at best. There's very little real connection, IMO.

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep would be a good book. I am a fan of Carter's, too.

And the CDs sound like a fun listen :)

Ah yes. A day without a Phil Dick book is a day without questioning your own reality...

I'd like to read Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep? It looks good.
