The Day After ,,,,

Well folks, glad that is all over really. Back to some sort of normality except for another crazy day of so-called sales. Glad i am not being sucked into it. The trouble is that if you are so inclined to go to the sales do not be surprised with more things that are not so much a bargain. Remember, all companies have a loss leader to suck you into the less discounted stuff.

Anyway, the cold meats and salad stuff with jacket potatoes did not happen yesterday. Oh well.

It is very cold and dry here and yet they had disruption in London this morning due to snow.

I have been listening to one of the CD's in the Miles Davis and Gil Evans box set cousin gave me.

We gave up presents a few years ago and never did get involved in the post-Christmas sales. We have enough crap and are trying to reduce that. Don't need more.

Christmas and Post Christmas sales have gotten to be a joke. It's the same bloody prices you see all year long on their weekly sales. Blah.......

being crowd phobic, I have never been one to go for sales. I think staying away from stores at this time of year is eminently sensible. Hope you recover from your cold soon.
