The law as it stands in the UK is supposed to protect trans people from this sort of treatment whether or not they have legal recognition. This local court authority is therefore in the process of breaking the law.

Whatever Tara Hudson may have done, she does not deserve cruel and unusual punishment.

This sort of stuff pisses me the fuck off. I don't care what she might have done, but she still holds her rights and sending her to an all-male prison is cruel and slap to the face. -_-;;

And as I said in my original post, it's against UK law (I'm also trans so tend to need to know these things) so I don't know wtf the court authority thinks it is up to!

Signatures are now almost up to 25k which means the authorities are required to act (anything over 10k requires a public statement).
