Good News

Well the old ebay site is going well.I have only 16 items for sale but already 4 items have been sold (with postage about £20) and awaiting payment , with another already seem to be sold and lots of interest in the other items.

Another bow to my endeavours, and what with the stall doing well as well, and getting work out of the blue from another lady i haven't spoken to before (with Fieldwork UK) things are going in the right direction.

May it continue.

Crate Diggin'

Well it's a dark horrible looking day outside and there is a downpour as i write, and it look settled for the day. I was lucky yesterday on my trip to Bognor Regis doing the recycling survey for KGS. It was windy but dry.

So if it continues like it this i will go diggin' in the crates round the charity shops and cheaper sections of the second hand retailers like Wax factor, and Across The Tracks and see what is on John's stall at Snoopers. Infact will probably do a tidy up and stock check in Snoopers if this rain don't stop.

I was hoping to get over to Horsham to do this council job for MRUK but its door to door and if the rain continues like this, and recovering from a cold, i don't think i will bother today.

Still it might brighton up. (Forever optimistic eh?)

At least i got my Maplins mystery shop out of the way yesterday.

Lorna had a headache yesterday so i got her favourite Chinese takeaway Singapore noodles to cheer her up. She had taken some tablets to relieve the headache.

Oh and i am still coughing.

Canterbury Scene and My Diggin' Goodies

Excellent article in today's Guardian about The Canterbury Scene and the groups that came from it like Soft Machine,Caravan,Hatfield amd The North,Henry Cow and others.

Picked up a few bargains today from Borderline and a few charity shops in my crate diggin' - first off Donny Hathaway "Donny Hathaway (Atco 1971 LP), Johnny Lytle "The Loop" (Tuba Records 1966 LP),Blind Teddy Darby "Bootleggn' Aint Good No More" (Blue Planet LP),Chrlie Byrd and Aldemaro Romero "Onda Nueva" (Columbia LP) and Nancy Wilson "From Broadway With Love" (Capitol LP).

Also found a single by The Piglets "Johnny Reggae" (Bell 1971) for 10 pence and a few other singles at 50 pence each.

It actually dried up for the most of the afternoon so i could have gone to Horsham, but then it was half of the aftrenoon gone. However the dryness didn't last.At least tomorrow i will be inside in the dry at Orange Worthing.
