Ale Trail

More ale drunk yesterday whilst on my journeys to do with the beer festival. I had a half on Purity Longhorn !PA (5.0 % ABV), a newish company from Warwickshire established 2005  plus two halves of the strong Abbots Confession (8.5 % ABV)

Last night was the usual mid week session at the Dover Castle. He had Adnams Southwold Bitter on the pumps.  I told Spot to come up and soothe his soar throat and cold with a dram of whisky and a beer. I think we left the place around 3 am in the morning. This is something that will be missed when Phil leaves the pub in the new year.
