Wetherspoons Beer Festival Update

First day of the week that I am in the Office. I needed to print out some mystery shopping visits i am doing in November.
It is a lovely day outside so I shall be leaving this shackled to the desk environment within the next twenty minutes.

Meanwhile,. an update on the Wetherspoons beer festival ales that i have drunk -

Yesterday in Canterbury i tried the following, all halves by the way  -

Everard's Pumpkin Ale (3.8 % ABV)
Moorhouse White Mist (4.2 % ABV)
Adnams Barley Mow (5.0 % ABV)
Green King The Abbot's Confession (8.5% ABV)

This morning before i popped into the Office.I had a pint of 21st Amendment American Bitter Red (4.4 % ABV) , another of these beers from the U.S.A  and from California.

Maidstone Book Finds

Last day of charity shop visit for this month, and I was in Maidstone for the covert shop. I picked up a few paperbacks for a five pound note.

Each entry includes a list major works and artists, characteristics, time period, and examples split into various art periods. Not much depth due to its brief overview but a concise and straightforward primer for the beginner.

Wi Fi Problems Again

Guess what ? The wi fi card on my Fujitsu laptop has gone. I keep pressing the function combination F1 to get onto wi fi and nothing happens. Luckily i bought a wi fi dongle for the older laptop i have because that had a dickey wi fi card as well but seems to be working again now. Meanwhile i am using this large looking wi fi dongle i got from Amazon. I have oredered a smaller uoobtrusuve dongke ftom Amazon which has got rave reviews.It looks like this -
