Items For Sale (June)

As i have seen somebody else use LJ to post items for sale to help out their moments of being poor , i too have some stuff that i need to redistribute to good homes.

Please help as it allows us to pay electricity , bills and so on. This is nothing to do with Discogs as i use that site separately for records and CD's. If anything on this list interests you you can email me at davesmusictank@gmail.com and we can work out postage costs. Payments best via Pay Pal to jazzbodave@outlook.com.

Was It Worth it?

It did not rain that long and just before midday it turned really sunny. So i crawled out of my rock,  had a bath , had a coffee and then i felt so much better. I collected a few DVD's that i did not want any more, mostly from charity shop visits,  and put them in a tote bag to see how much i might get for them in Sittingbourne.

I left just after midday. The sun was scorching hot and thus i walked the three miles and a half with my T shirt off and in the tote bag. When i reached town, dripping with sweat, i took a detour through the Aldi supermarket to cool me down near the refrigerated section.

I went into Cex to sell my DVD's and got a meagre £2 for them. I then picked up some cheesy buns for my salad  as there was plenty left over from the other day but no buns. I then caught a free train ride back home.

For all that effort, was it worth it, i  ask? Well, at least the tan is looking good.

Eagle Jazz

I found an old You Tube clip of mine which i recorded on a camera way back in August 2012 at The Eagle Tavern in Rochester , so i thought i should share this. It is the Simon Spillett Quartet doing a version of a Sonny Rollins tune -
