Gentle Midnight Music

For my post-midnight tune i have chosen a gentle French item by Joseph Cantaloube from "Songs Of The Auvergne" as this was also a choice by Guy Garvey on his Desert Island  Discs on Sunday morning. The track is called Bailero

Enjoy. Au revoir.

Twitchy

I overslept. I woke up at 6 am , decided it was too early, then woke up again at 9 am. Oh well, as it was a day at "teh ossif" and that it is a Monday, i decided "Oh well what the heck".

I walked into Sittingbourne as , once again, it was quite a gloriously warm sunny day.
Beforehand, i packed some vinyl and CD's to be posted from sales over at Discogs and E Bay. No big sales , just small ones really, and i am trying to keep within the twenty free listings per month. A good idea if you can stick with it.

I must admit to feeling a bit lethargic. Could it be that Monday blues thing? Maybe i should platy some blues later on then and like Howling Wolf howl at the moon. Maybe it is because we are entering, in a few days time, into a full moon due on Sunday. That lycanthrope tendency is in the ascendant. No wonder i feel twitchy.

Looks for hairs on back.

Monday Blues

As i hinted at earlier i was going to play some blues , and in the collection i have a number of blues numbers. I was going to play T. Bone Walker's version of "Stormy Monday" but as i have a Bobby Bland collection, i generally prefer this version. In 1962 he was known as Bobby "Blue" Bland.

Enjoy.
