Mula!

Put the cheque into my building society this morning. The IPSOS remittance was in my account this morning, sold one more item on eBay and soon I will be in Chatham to do my exit interviews at the Pentagon Centre. I have moved the failed Saturday visit to the centre to next Saturday now, so I will get my £80 plus expenses.
So a positive start for the week ahead.

Chatham Visit

Completed my four-hour shift in Chatham in the Pentagon Centre today and afterwards for the same company did a coffee shop covert visit. I then perused the charity shops and found this double CD in nearly mint condition for fifty pence. Just had to replace the jewel case which was damaged.

CD1 is the jazz side whilst CD2 is the classical side of the composer. This compilation came out in 1997 to celebrate 100 years of Gershwin's birth. The jazz side has Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Blossom Dearie, Anita O'Day, Louis Armstrong, Nina Simone, Count Basie, Shirley Horn and unbelievably Audrey Hepburn!

So a real bargain!

From that album this swinger is one of the tracks-

Shirley Horn - Our Love Is Here  To Stay

Oh yeah!
