Double Checked

I double checked the two letters from the DWP , and they have a reference number at the bottom of the letter. These are consequence and just differ by one incremented number. It is the the latter which says what i will be getting money , so it may well be that they realised i am in a hostel and by withholding money from me could have endangered me being homeless again. they just bugger things up for me.  I will know one way or the other Wednesday morning.

The sunshine only lasted for the morning and it had rained by the afternoon. I got caught in it walking back from Aldi.

These are the three books i got from Faversham yesterday -

The Tent by Margaret AtwoodNaked Lunch (The Perennial Collection) by…Penguin English Library the Picture of…

That sounds very confusing, but hopefully it will be sorted out for the better!

Oh, my, a Margaret Atwood I've not heard of! I must find this. (unless it's one of those cases where the UK version has a different title from the US version)

I couldn't make it through Naked Lunch. Just... couldn't.

Atwood

It should be available elsewhere - it is not just a UK thing here.

I hope the confusion over payments will be cleared up and you're not left in a bad situation. That is disconcerting to get 2 letters at the same time w. conflicting information.

Good book selection, Margaret Atwood is one of my favorite authors.

I'm crossing my fingers that you get the money you need and any confusion is cleared up in your favour.

Bugger you got wet walking back from ALDI!

[identity profile] davesmusictank.livejournal.com 2016-06-27 10:04 am (UTC)(link)
But it was the warm rain so i did not mind at all.

Okay. Warm rain is all right!

Actually we don't even know what cold rain is here. Unless you count the freezing, sometimes hail-speckled rain we get from thunderstorms!
