Hatching A Sound

A freezing cold day today over at Stone Cross,Eastbourne today doing a survey inside a Tesco Express. Popped into Eastbourne afterwards and picked up a 1969 LP by The Tony Hatch Orchestra "Brasilia Mission" (Pye NSPL 18303) for £1 in a charity shop in nice condition. Has a nice funky version of "Light My Fire" on it,and a real work out on "Brasilia Mission" itself, and worth being sampled by some enterprising artist. Track 1 on Side 2 has a slight jump in it which hasn't been solved by heavy arm tracking and weighting of the tone arm. Overall a nice latinesque album. Oh well what do you expect for a £1.

Back to Stone Cross tomorow - just hope it is a warmer sunnier day.

OK - Tony Hatch, a dim memory... Who the hell was he (is he) married to?
BTW - did you get the Massive Attack CD I sent?
