Sunday Slouching

So this is how the weekend has panned out.

Saturday I went into Sittingbourne to do a mystery shop within a supermarket, one of these purchases and return scenarios. I had to wait at least forty-five minutes to do the return section so I popped int The Yellow Stocks for a pint of beer. They had one called Romney Ale which was very tasty and a session strength of 4.2 % abv.

I then went to Chatham to do the second visit of the day inquiring about a coffee machine within a department electronics and white goods store. That went well. So I had time to catch a bus into central Chatham, catch the train to Faversham and the last bus back to Ospringe.

The weather was much more inclement today - heavy rain part of the day - and I did not feel like doing much, so I just langured reading and listening to music.

I had a cheese melted jacket potato and salad for my lunch.

So, you may be asking, what have I been listening to -well dear reader - it was -

Richard and Linda Thompson - Pour Down Like  Silver (Island)
Radio Tarifa - Rumba Argelina (World Circuit)
Vanessa Daou - Zipless (MCA)
Anthony and The Johnsons - I Am A Bird Now (Rough Trade)
Sussan Deyhim - Shy Angels (Crammed Discs)
Van Morrison - Astral Weeks (Warner Bros)

Now, I shall sign off for a while to watch some programmes - StarTrek Discovery and Star Trek DS9, Cloak and Dagger (yes - it is back with season 2) and also the second series of the Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina. Tara for now.
