Heathfield Visit
Yesterday a trip to heathfield to do a Co-op survey. It was meant to be done in the street but it was such a miserable wet day that i did the survey at the entrance to the Co-Op or inside.
Afterwards,thinking I was on the bus back to Uckfield i was heading towards Hawkhurst and had to wait to catch a bus to Tunbridge Wells an dthen a 29 back to Brighton. A bit of an extended journey then.
Anyway was able to do a quick rummage in Uckfiled on my journey to Heathfield and a small one in heathfield itself.
Found the following stuff from chazzers -
Soul Unlimited - Black Is Beautful (Windmill LP)
Common - Like Water For Chocolate (MCA CD)
Ike and Tina Turner - River Deep Mountain High (A&M Hamlet LP)
Oscar Peterson Trio with Singers Unlimited - In Tune (MPS LP)
Camel - The Snow Goose (Decca LP)
Carpenters- Horizon (A&M LP)
All around fifty pence except for the CD at £2.
My Amazon ordered CD courtesy of a gift certificate from Voodoo Research arrived this morning -
"Sacred Music Of The Moroccan Jews,,From The Paul Bowles Collection" (Rounder 2CD)
Quite a bit to listen to over the weekend.
