Not to tempt fate but so far this morning it has been gloriously sunny. Meanwhile, I started listening to some wayward pop and indie confections from Panda Bear and Ariel Pink.

Ariel Pink is an American musician, singer, and songwriter whose work draws heavily from the 1970s–1980s pop radio. He is frequently cited as the "godfather" of the hypnagogic pop and chillwave movements, and he is credited with galvanizing a larger trend involving the evocation of the media, sounds, and outmoded technologies of prior decades, as well as an equal appreciation for high and low aesthetic values in indie music. His "Before Today" album under the moniker of Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti is a highlight in my collection.

Panda Bear is an American musician, singer-songwriter and co-founding member of the experimental pop band Animal Collective. In addition to his work with that group, Lennox has released six solo LPs since 1999. His third, Person Pitch (2007), is noted for influencing a wide range of subsequent indie music in addition to inspiring the chillwave genre and numerous soundalike acts.

Also, confusingly, there is an experimental UK jazz band called Polar Bear. Might do a music post on all three bands/artists.

I am actually waiting for a parcel to come from my brother coming42 which will contain four books, which I am slightly getting more excited about.

Also, I am expecting a pick up via DPD of unwanted stuff going to Ziffit.

I have sold four CD's as well last night on eBay and Discogs. Been busy one way or another.
