Monday Musings
So, today was the day for our community raffle. I had a batch of five tickets but did not win. I feel it is rigged anyway by the two curtain twitchers, so to counter the horrible Xmas music I had my bottles of beer to hand and drink. The food was a mixture of sandwiches, sausage rolls, spring rolls, and mince pies. Doggy bags were given for leftovers.
After that fiasco, I popped into town to meet Ewart for the regular Monday session at Spoons. Three pints later I did feel I had enough as I had three earlier in the common room. However, we had a good discussion and excellent comradeship.
Oh, and my paintings are back up. Sue did not need the space, and lo and behold, It was those lying curtain watchers again.
