Tankerton and Herne Bay Visit

The first two mystery shops of the current month has been done, one in Tankerton and the other in Herne Bay. The sun broke through the clouds and after another short sharp shower, the rest of the afternoon was quite sunny.

In Tankerton i picked up two books and a box set of the first season of Farscape. I have not seen that TV series for years so i shall watch this with glee.

The books are as follows -

I am quite amazed to find a Roland Barthes book, discussions on culture, philosophy ,and semiotics,  in a  charity shop.

You generally seem to have some very intellectual charity shop donors in Kent.

I really like Farscape, as well.

In The Gaze an obese woman and her lover, a dwarf, are sick of being stared at wherever they go and so decide to reverse roles. The man goes out wearing make-up and the woman draws a moustache on her face.
