Canterbury Sandwich and Ashford Round Trip

Today i did a trip via Canterbury to Sandwich. Had a charity shop visit to do in Sandwich as well as having a sandwich in the cinque port town. I then took the bus to Deal and then down to Ashford to do the cinema visit. The film i saw was Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes.  Verdict on the film - excellent.

Arrive back home just after eleven.

I spent too much time in Waterstones in Canterbury as they had a sale on some books. Bought these from the outlet -

In Sandwich at the charity shop i bought some CD's and a book for a fiver.

The CD's are -

Various Artists - Stax O' Soul (Stax)
Various Artists - Brazil Classics  1 , Beleza Tropical (Luaka Bop)

Joshua Redman Quartet - Spirit Of The Moment (Warner Bros 2 CD)

The book is a hardback -

I took quite a few pictures which i shall post later on.

I loved Maugham's short stories, but I haven't read them since my teens. Have you ever read Noel Coward's? He wrote them on a tour around the world, and, like many of Maugham's stories, are set in places where various European Empires are beginning to crumble.

Not read any of Coward's books at all.

How much time do you spend reading? Seems like you're constantly acquiring books.

I read quite alot. On my travels by bus i read all the time and use much spare time doing so , and as a quick reader, i do get thtough quite a few. Some of these i buy are for re-sale, most are for reading or some research work.

Ooh, Maugham's stories! I've read a couple of his books and loved them.

You find the best CDs, I swear. I want to live where people donate jazz instead of crappy country music.
