Buffy Fest Almost Ending

Another Buffy fest last night, just got four episodes to go of the fifth season. This is where Buffy's mum dies , and the funeral of said mum and the repercussions after that. Oh and Glory sucking out more brains leaving them as gibbering shells, and looking for the Key. Poor Tara. Heck, i was so involved again. Tears flooding at the most sad moments. Tere was funny moments too, esp. the robot Buffy for Spike. That was a hoot.

Whedon's best series, save for Angel and Firefly.

So as a reminder here is a small montage with the band Two Sreps From Hell and I Love You Forever (Miracles).

Ohhh!! Ohhh, that was a hard episode. I'd be in tears, too...

Buffy made me laugh, cry, research, and embrace more than a few new ideas. It is great. I still tear up with the death of her Mom and Spike's confession in the church (7th season).

Season 5 was one of my favorites. I love Anya's monologue about how stupid death is in The Body.

Mom was killed in the 5th season? I must have seen some episodes after that. I didn't think she had parents. :o

I liked Dollhouse, too, despite Eliza Dushku's being not quite up to the demands of her role. I found it to be an interesting meditation on the lives of actors. Amy Acker was great in the role of the doctor in the particular dollhouse featured where the "dolls" were featured.

Buffy, Angel, and Firefly are all good, as well. Whedon is the most interesting and talented director around, working in the big studios, IMO.
