The Never Ending Problem of Late Pay

i worked out where that other money came from. It was my last exit poll visit at Aldi in Hythe for one of my companies. For some reason i had totally forgotten about it. However i still have not received the other money from the R company and their sister company L seems to be late now.

I also, last week, realized that a job i did way back in the final week of February for the Bensons bed shop visit. I phoned the research company with the revelation that they had sent a cheque a few days later form the day i did the shop. So they are raising a new cheque on their next pay run this coming Thursday. At least this Horsham based company apologized quite profusely and do seem to be on top of it. Okay it is only a tenner but it is the principle that matters.

It has been raining, April showers no less, but now it is bright and i am on my way to Canterbury - i just need some Ebay or Discog sales to tidy me over the weelend as i have already dug deep into that which came yesterday, with paying half towards the water bill and the electricity key meter.

Oh well,maybe Monday will bring a surprise.

That is not a good trend that R and L seem to be forming. :o

Enjoy that good weather. We just had an inch and a half of snow Thursday night. :o

Ouch; sympathy. Do you have any recourse toward getting paid, other than nagging them until they stop hiring you? (Which would be counterproductive --- only, if they never pay you, maybe not...)

I am just going to keep badgering them - nothing else i could do really. I don't want to part company with them because the work is good and varied. If they continue though with this, then parting of the ways it will have to be.

This payment situation is most unsatisfactory. Cannot have you missing the FTLC, so, you can forget repayment of the £20 loan and I have just sent you a gift of £25 to your bank account. Hang on to it for Thursday!! When do you plan travelling to Seaford/Brighton? Please acknowledge receipt of the new wonga when it arrives..

Thanks for the mula. I will book Bellota on Monday and email everyone.Normally i do not have any problem with the company but on this occasion it has been rather frustrating. Look forward to Thursday. Probably travel on Tuesday.

Arrrghhhh...I agree with Thespian. This does NOT bode well, this asshattery from L and R. You do the work. You get paid. Should not be such a bloody headache!!
