The Post Midnight Groove

The after hours tune for midnight and beyond i have chosen this time is from the Miles Davis album Round About Midnight, and the track , well it has to be, Round Midnight. Imagine a smokey bar, a barfly swirling the ice around in his bourbon, and the band keep on playing this tune. Oh yes.

Yesterday's Storm

Sundays flash flood even hit the local news pages as Teynham and Sittingbourne had flooded roads and extreme bad driving conditions.

(Note - Emily is an American lass who lives in Faversham now and keeps calling the village with the "ay" sound.

Hythe Visit

A rived back home after nine from a vist to Hythe via Canterbury. I first popped into Faversham to sell some CD's but the guy at the record and CD shop wasn't interested. I had to wait til midday before he opened up due to travel problems it stated on the door to the shop.

I then got my tenner from the two CD sales and took a bus to Canterbury then Hythe. Did the mystery shop, bought five books which i might keep or sell at Past Sentence tomorrow.

Picked up some classical CD's going for fifty pence as well. -
