Ashford Visit
Interspersed with rain , plus a little thunder and lightning, and after the morning session at the Office, I took a chance on the weather and bussed it down to Ashford to do a café mystery shop at the William Harvey Hospital. I dodged most of the rain but when I alighted off the bus at the hospital the heavens had opened up and I got soaked walking from the bus stop to the entrance of the main hall in the hospital.
I picked up some CD's cheap from a charity shop and found three books for the price of two in another charity shop.
The CD's , bought at fifty pence each, are -

Stephin Merritt - Showcase (Nonesuch)
The three books are -
I was going to do the cinema visit but i did not fancy walking back late in the rain to the train station. It is a good half hour walk.. I could do that one on a Saturday anyway. More buses to the complex that day.
