So, after  the rant, some soothing music for you good folk in LJ land. Gillian Welch from her sublime Soul  Journey album and a track called Look At Miss Ohio.

Biting words indeed. Enjoy.

Here is a track from a very strange album found in Ashford by Stephin Merritt , and one that made me smile too, What A Fucking Lovely Day.

26 short tracks that rarely go over two minutes or more. Enjoy.

An uplifting finger snapping tune from Groove Armada from the Vertigo CD is this track called Chicgao.

Enjoy.

I visited a new Wetherspoons outlet in Sheerness midday. It was on one of my official covert shops anyway, so i just had to try t out. Looks a very nice pub inside ,if not so impressive outside..

I had a sirloin steak with chips peas and mushroom washed down with the house red and a pint of Ringwood Old Thumper (5.1 % ABV). I remember the days back in the eighties when Thumper was a 6.0 % Ale! Why did they have to water down its strength?

The pub has a small outside smoking area.

I also did a mystery shop at another branch of the travel agents that i regularly do pretending i was looking for a November holiday in Fuenteventura.

It turned out to be a warm sunny day and i had a pint of Kent Brewery Bosses Ale (5.5 % ABV) after the lunch before embarking on my journey back. I also took another pic of the clock tower from the bus stop whilst waiting for my bus back to Sittingbourne.

And the view in the opposite direction.

After a stint at the Office i then had a few beers at the Paper Mill. Plus somewhere along the way i lost my back door keys. Had to let cousin let me in the front door so first thing Wednesday get copies of both front and back door keys done.
