Bruch Violin Concerto

Some classical music for now, rather than the usual collection of genres.

This is one of my favourite violin concertos -

MAX BRUCH - Violin Concerto No, 1 in G Minor. Op. 26. - SHLOMO MINTZ/Claudio Abbado/Chicago Symphony

Enjoy.

R.I.P. Keith Emerson

As a tribute to this king of the keyboard a couple of classic prog rock grooves from him and and his bands.

The Nice - Hang On To A Dream

The Nice - America

Emerson Lake and Palmer - Tarkus

TArkus still remains my favourite ELP album , esp. this long 20 min title track - it conveys what prog rock was all about with complex time signatures and , based on motifs and extemporization, plus an unfolding sound and groove similar to classical music and modern jazz, makes this one album alone a highlight.

I also played this vinyl LP as well.
