Some random pics that were taken in Faversham -

Bus waiting.

The local shuttle bus between town and my end of town. The new X4 express bus is behind. It gives a fast route between Canterbury, Faversham, Ospringe, Sittingbourne, and Maidstone.

This table has been bugged! Outside in the garden at The Yellow Stocks pub in Sittingbourne.

A Fairy Tale in New York
A true antidote to the sad remembrance of 9/11.
Emma Raducanu wins US Open by beating Leylah Fernandez for maiden Grand Slam
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/tennis/58533341

Raducanu is the first British woman to reach a Grand Slam singles final since Virginia Wade at Wimbledon in 1977. The victory means that she is now Britain's number one female tennis player!
This truly was a fairy tale of New York.
And she comes from Kent and thus her home town of Bromley will be proud!!
Utterly remarkable -

She is so wonderfully natural about it, and exciting.

Sizzling Sunday
Well, what a gloriously sunny day it has been. A very warm 25C or more of delicious sunbathing was done. Four hours at least and four cans of strong cider drunk. Plus a late siesta!
Lunch was a snack of curried chicken and chorizo Swedish-style meatballs. Didn't feel like having anything substantial after yesterday's chocoholic blowout.
I think my siesta lasted around four hours as well, lol!
