A Moot Point
The authenticity of Xmas is rather moot. Based as it is on a pagan ritual of celebrating the winter solstice. Ethnically Jesus was a Jew anyway. So Hanukkah should be more appropriate. IMHO , religion as such, is a load of toss. If anything, i waver between atheism and a paganism of older times. So for now i shall call it Yuletide.

There are other celebrations of light mentioned in the Jewish texts that might push this a bit earlier, but not a great deal.
Just relax and celebrate the return of light through the passage of the Solstice. :-)

Besides of all those people screaming about the "War on Christmas" I want to know how many actually celebrate the true meaning of Christmas and how many are celebrating "commercial" Christmas. UGH.........

Hm... But Yuletide or Yule is period of time between Christmas and Baptism with regard to Christianity. It takes about 13 days after Christmas...
