Shiraz Sunday

Not much to report about today , apart from the fact it was a very sunny and hot day which enabled me to have three hours of sunbathing. and relaxing.

The rest of the day was either reading, listening to music or sleeping.

O made another home made bacon and cheese beef burger which i washed down with a very nice Shiraz red wine. Then i had an a few hours of kip until now.

The morning was spent watching a DVD from my recent visits , a wonderful Luc Besson film called Angel-A.

Angel-A

This was a wonderful film by the director of Nikita, The Fifth Element and Lucy. Filmed in monochrome this is an homage to Paris and a romantc fantasy drama all rolled into one.

Angel-A Poster.jpg

This 1995 movie is the most surprising film i have seen by Luc Besson. Not since Leon have i felt a shed of tears.

Angel-A, beautiful scene - Je t'aime

I totally loved this film. The soundtrack music composed by Anja Garbarek is totally gorgeous as well.

Another fave scene from the movie -
