My own reviews. As i read i tend to write my reaction in a notebook, and sometimes quote piece of text from it/ It is my overall subjective critique. I say critique with a caveat because the irreducible fact is that i hardly dismiss a book, and always looking for something good in it.
I then realized i had missed out a piece form my handwritten thoughts when i posted this review , that i was referring to Clifford Geertz whose Interpretation of Cultures" i read back in the nineties. That was undeniably thick and stodgy to read.
