A few days ago i watched the DVD of Hannah and Her Sisters, one of those Woody Allen films from the eighties.
Now whatever you may think of Allen himself, he has made some memorable films and some awful ones to boot. Until this ,my two favourites were Annie Hall and Manhattan, but after watching this, it has become my top Allen film and in many ways his most rounded. Probably one of his most mature films. I have yet to see some of the more recent films he has made and there are quite a few from the past that i have yet to watch, but Hannah and Her Sisters, in my humble opinion, is one of the most satisfying.
