Gillingham Visit

jazzy_daveSo this afternoon i went over to Gillingham by taking a train ride to Rainham and then walking from that rail station to Gillingham town centre. Just one problem. I was running out of time before the charity shop closed , so when i got to the end of Beechings Way (where it meets the A289 (the road that goes down to the Medway tunnel) i catch a bus from there to th High Street (a 182 bus from Twydall).
In the end i got to said chazzer at 4.09 pm and then did the second visit around 4.30 pm. Job done! Plus, amazingly, barriers were down at Gillingham station so i get a free train ride back as i did from Teynham to Rainham! All i had to pay was the £2.80 bus journey. Result! Vindication of trying to keep it fiscally tight.
So, as usual , i purchased books because at least these can be resold. One of them might interest my brother.
