Definitely, Brighton's one of those places I can be energised by simply through being present there. It's wonderful. ^_^ The Evening Star's not a bad micro-example - the range of conversations one can hear reminds you of just how eclectic Brighton society is, not to mention the varied flyers for local events.
BTW, how's that huge tower coming along? I've still not managed to get along to see for myself. Their site seems upbeat, at least, suggesting a Summer 2016 opening.
